Our rule for future affiliate links

If the site later earns a fee when someone follows a link or registers, the relationship will be disclosed beside the affected call to action and on this page. A platform’s commission cannot improve its evidence confidence, fit indicators or editorial conclusion.

What a disclosure will state

• which platform or partner may pay;
• whether payment depends on a click, registration, approval, viewer spend or creator activity;
• whether the reader receives any benefit;
• whether the link affects the destination or signup terms;
• the date the relationship became active.

What we will not do

• sell a “best platform” position;
• hide a material risk at a partner’s request;
• describe a compensated link as independent;
• collect sensitive application or identity documents for a referral;
• make an income promise to increase conversion.
